To our Woodward Tahoe, Boreal and Soda Springs Family,

I wanted to take a moment to toast the 2018-19 season and thank our dedicated community of staff and guests. This was a very memorable year that began with the largest and most incredible Woodward Tahoe Summer camp yet. A new Parkour venue and continued excitement over the recently added Slabs Mountain Bike Park and the Sierra Skate Park, made for a truly unforgettable camp experience. Our teams will be busy this summer building the new Eastern Sierra Skate Park and expanding the Slabs.

As the first resort to open in California, our ski season kicked off with the addition of the California Cruiser, a state of the art beginner chairlift that made for longer runs and shorter lines. We also benefitted from the addition of two Pisten Bully snowcats that were instrumental in managing over 600” of snow!

Our Soda Springs guests experienced an animated winter experience, the Snow Ball, which celebrates the holidays in the beautiful Sierra. We look forward to the future of this tradition.
Our terrain park teams were incredibly busy, in addition to keeping our resorts in motion after the snowiest month on record in Lake Tahoe, launched the Woodward Peace Park and the second year of Boreal Pop-Up Parks. We are excited to be hosting the Woodward Peace Park championships May 1-5, with a Peace Park public event on May 5th.

Our community helped us to celebrate the fourth year of Feel Good Fridays, through which we have raised over $125,000 for local charities, and with our main partner the High 5’s Foundation. We are proud to be named the High 5’s partner of the year.

We are also excited to share with you that for the third year in a row, our Take 3 Ride Free lesson program has been named by the National Ski Areas Association as one of the top 3 learn to ski programs in the US.

Our resorts are celebrated as the best place for youth and families and we are thrilled to introduce one of the most exciting pass products in the Lake Tahoe region, Boreal Kids Ski Free. Every Adult Unlimited Season Pass or Adult All Access Pass will include a FREE Boreal Season Pass for a child 8 and under. Families will also enjoy new experiences through our Woodward Tahoe facilities and programming.

Thank you to our teams for their commitment to our operations and guests during this very memorable winter. We are proud to have stayed open every day despite the incredible amounts of snow received on Donner Summit.

Looking forward to seeing you this summer at Woodward Summer Camp and Summer Sessions, and in the fall for the re-opening of the Woodward Tahoe Bunker and resort openings.
